Lead-response prototype

Speed-to-Lead Voice AI

A voice-led lead-response prototype that calls a new home-service lead, gathers the essentials, checks availability, and prepares or completes a booking.

The operating problem

Why this system existed.

A new inquiry can arrive while the owner or dispatcher is driving, on a job, or closed for the day. The longer the lead waits, the more likely the customer is to contact another provider. A useful response system also has to respect consent, business hours, staff escalation, and the company's existing calendar and CRM.

The response

What I designed and built.

I built an interactive web demo around an immediate callback workflow. The prototype collected consent and trade context, initiated a voice call, qualified the request, checked availability, and demonstrated the path into calendar booking and team follow-up.

System path

From signal to verified outcome.

01

Lead arrives

A web form, missed call, or approved source creates a structured lead event.

02

Call back

A voice agent contacts the lead within the configured operating rules.

03

Qualify

The conversation captures service need, timing, location, and escalation conditions.

04

Book or hand off

The system checks availability, writes the outcome, and books or routes the lead to a person.

My role

Architecture through implementation.

Offer and workflow design, Next.js demo experience, voice-agent orchestration, booking flow, consent and abuse controls, error handling, and deployment architecture.

Capabilities demonstrated

  • Retell voice-agent workflow
  • Calendar and booking integration
  • CRM-ready structured outcomes
  • Consent, rate limits, and bot protection
  • Human handoff and exception paths

What exists

Evidence, with the boundary intact.

A complete interactive demo route and supporting API surface were built, including consent capture, callback states, availability and booking endpoints, rate-limit responses, and failure handling.

Your operation

The right system starts with the real workflow.
